2025 MAJOR SPONSORS SET

Four organizations have agreed to spearhead the 2025 Sand Creek Summer Daze Festival this year. Choose Newton, Union State Bank, State Farm - Dustin Remme Agency and GAF will help showcase the 2025 Hot Summerz' Night theme. Choose Newton and Union State Bank have been long time sponsors of the festival since our beginnings in 2018! State Farm - Dustin Remme Agency and GAF are new community businesses stepping into the Major Sponsor openings.

2025 HOT SUMMERZ NIGHT CONCERT BANDS BOOKED

SCSD has booked the Hall and Oates Experience and the Yachtly Groove Band out of Kansas City for the Hot Summerz Night Concert, Saturday, June 21st at 6pm. These bands go hand in hand with the theme of this years festival. Listening to yacht rock music by your camper with drink in hand, lawn chair in the kiddy pool, mullet flowing in the wind, and your flamingos swaying to the soft rock grooves of the late 70's and early 80's is Merica baby!

2025 NEW & PAST EVENTS ANNOUNCED

SCSD has added several new events to the 2025 festival.  After the Battle of the Badges, there will be a country concert added to the agenda on Friday night with the duo of Jacob Reavis & Samantha Melillo (from the Annie Up Band), followed by the Friday Night Lightz fire works show. 

The Sand Creek Card Board Regatta is making a comeback this year. This is a great family or team building event. Take an hour to build and decorate your boat with most of the materials provided, parade it to the Newton pool for judging and try to stay afloat and beat everyone else in the race without sinking. But even that isn't bad, there is a prize for that!!

POP UP MARKET TO PARTNER WITH SCSD

SCSD has teamed up with Debbie Traxson and the pop up market group in Newton. There will be vendors in the park for all to shop and find that perfect treasure. The market averages between 20 to 40 vendors per Saturday and promises to be a great stroll through the park on the Saturday of the festival.
