Start Time:
Gates opens at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, June 20th
First match will be at 9:15 Teams must be ready to play immediately after previous game.
Eligibility Rules:
Teams must have a minimum of six player and an maximum of nine players on the roster by the tournament deadline
All risk and responsibility forms must be signed. If a player is under the age of 18 years old forms must be signed by parent or guardian.
If any male player has Varsity Soccer Team experience
Tournament Rules:
This tournament is a two game guarantee, double elimination. We do reserve the right to change the format if needed due to the amount of teams entered. Teams will be notified before the start of tournament.
Set-up:
Teams will consists of 6 players: 1 goalie, 2 forwards & 3 middles
Teams must start with 6 players and no more than three guys to begin.
The two forwards must be split male / female at all times when manned.
Teams may field more gals than guys.
Teams may not play with more males than females. (even when female injury occurs)
Teams may finish match with less than six if there is an injury.
Players can switch only at end of periods or in the event of an injury.
Players must wear tennis or sports shoes.
General Rules:
Players need to hold onto the foosball pipe will both hands at ALL times AND in the appropriate colored areas.
There shall be no kicking or attempting to kick an opponent. No tripping or attempting to trip an opponent. Verbal or physical abuse to another player or the referee will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove players from the team for repeated offenses or if they believe it is in the best interest of the game.
Jumping, leaning or climbing over or under the foosball poles is not allowed.
A players shoulders must remain above the poles at all times.
The ball will be entered through the entry slide at midcourt on the START OF GAME and a RESTART.
Soccer ball must remain below the foosball poles at all times.
.Players and Goalies may NOT use their hands. If they let go of the foosball pole and/or touch the ball with their arms or hands, it will result in a penalty on the player. The penalty succession is as follows:
1st Offense: Verbal Warning 2nd Offense: two minutes in penalty box 3rd Offense: Ejected from game
Timing Rules:
The match will consist of three - 5 minute periods
Each team will have two one minute times out per match.
No stalling is allowed. If a player holds the ball for what the official believes to too long, a penalty will be called.
Scoring Rules:
Each goal scored in opponents goal is +1 point
Each goal scored in own goal is a goal for the opponent
Mercy Rule – If a team has a 10 point lead at any point in the game, the game will be called.
In the event of a tie at the end of regulation play, a Golden Goal tie-breaker will be initiated
All defensive players must choose a spot and remain frozen in place including the defensive goalie
Movement by any player will result in the opposing team being awarded the goal
Each goalie gets three (3) shots towards the other team’s goal.
